The Word of the Day: Syndication

If you hang around the Etsy forums, you've probably seen them; syndication here, syndication there. As someone who is naturally curious and willing to learn, I've read them all. Did I get it? NO. But then my store was syndicated. I went back to the forums, and re-read some. Now I got it!! But I had to see it for myself.

I knew I had to de-activate all my items and then re-activate them. Felt kind of weird to have an empty store, even for a few seconds. The expert forum posters assured me that my items would be uploaded by Etsy within 48 hours. I panicked when I couldn't find them in the Google Product Search. But then, guess what? I found myself through my own tags! Something else I read in the forums. You should always include your store name in your tags. So I've been syndicated. Sounds so formal...like I'm official, or certifiable...I mean certified.

More to come as I find out more about this product search by google. For now I'll go get ready for the avalanche of orders I'm about to receive.

I'd like to report that my beautiful and strong ficus tree is a survivor! After spending several nights out in the cold, yes, I forgot to bring it in, its showing signs of life!
Maybe it was a very hardy specimen, or the cold wasn't prolonged enough, maybe it was all the praying. The fact is that little green leaves are sprouting from its dead looking branches. Thank you!


On a different note....tomorrow is the first day of March!
